Fishery Rules

  •       No imatation plastic hook baits or cork, shrink tube and tubing to be dark colours only
  •       No boats or inflatable’s
  •       All Baitboats & Teliscopic baiting poles to be sterilised on arrival 'This Your Responsibility' 
  •       No swimming
  •       Bivvies only - No tents
  •       Ground sheet must be used on all set ups - open front & brollies 
  •       No fixed rigs (safety rigs only, the fishery manager has the right to inspect rigs at anytime) Do Not Use Lead Dropping Set Ups
  •       All anglers must have a carp medical kitand administer after hook removal also treating any other sores
  •       Micro Barbed Hooks Only 
  •       Limited particle to be used – Home Prepared Particles must be shown to manager before use
  •       No Nuts whatsoever 
  •       No PLASTIC HOOK BAITS
  •       No portable generators
  •       No fires
  •       No pets
  •       No rods to be left unsupervised at anytime for what ever reason
  •       No climbing
  •       No cutting of any vegetation whatsoever
  •       No rubbish to be left in swims during or after your session including tea-bags 
  •      Cigarette butts must be put in an ashtray, tin or rubbish bag- NOT LEFT ON THE GROUND   
  •       No BBQ’s 
  •       No loud music
  •       We would ask guest to use mobile phones in consideration of other anglers
  •       Environment Agency rod license required
  •       No removal of any species of fish
  •       Cradle - Landing Net And Retaining Weigh Sling Supplied. Do not bring any wet gaer on site please.   
  •       3 rods per angler
  •       One angler per swim - No doubling up      
  •       Fish should be held in retaining sling for no longer than 15 minutes.Whilst camera is set up
  •       Fish should remain over the craddle at all times - never stand or carry fish - After treating return fish using cradle or sling
  •       No Sacking Fish
  •       Single hook lengths only to be used
  •       Sensible lighting to be used
  •       Please respect all wildlife
  •       Your party should aim to arrive together and within one hour of stated arrival time. Prior arrangement must be made for any anglers wishing to arrive outside the time stated with your booking.
  •       ALL RODS must be reeled in by 9.30am on your morning of departure - The carpark to be empty by 10am
  •             We have the right (and do) to inspect all vehicles before they leave site     
     
  • Please enjoy your visit, we fully respect that people may wish to drink alcohol whilst they are staying at Uddens Pond Wood, please remember, be safe and have respect for your fellow anglers. Drunken behavior will not be tolerated.
Any angler or non-fishing partner not respecting these rules will be asked to leave the water, no refund will be given

 

Any accidents whilst on site must be reported to fishery manager straight away.
